Imagine finding and marrying your dream girl, everything you've ever wanted. She goes out and cheats on you! You still want her but every time you see her, you know she's a dirty whore! I have a dirty GMC whore!
I got an add oil message on startup. Took the truck to the dealer to find the coolant tank completely full of oil at 11,800 mi! Contacted GMC customer service for a buy back. Was told due to my states lemon laws, they will do nothing about it. This was my dream truck! Spared no expense! This Truck is contaminated! I don't want any future problems from having oil circulated around the whole coolant system. They said they'll "flush it really good." Absolutely shocked that GMC will not stand behind their poorly built $95,000 truck. The only thing I can do is trade it in and buy a new truck. They will sell it to some other sucker and tell them nothing about it. This truck has cost me $40,000 to drive for 10 months. DO BETTTER GMC!

I don't know if'n you could talk to your dealer and have them LOC it.

I know...it's an Amway product. I don't agree with the pyramid concept, but this shit is great! When I have a diesel puke oil into the cooling system, I drain, repair, flush with LOC at operating temps, drain, flush with tap water, drain and refill to spec. Don't even replace the easy to get to hoses.

There will be no petroleum left in your system. Kinda like bitch slapping your whore and installing a chastity belt.

I feel your pain. In 2018 I ordered and bought the L5P Duramax, 2500 HD Z71 CC after having the LLY since 2005. So stoked, Brand NEW, I drove it off the lot and before I made the first payment, I was at 464 miles...Low Coolant issue. Took it in and they flushed the system saying there must have been an air bubble in it. 3 months later again, low coolant. Kept having this issue and they couldn't figure it out. Can't take a chance so every check engine light and warning, that thing was back at the dealer. Trans cooler leaked, also had Complete ECU failure! Dealer had it for over a week before they even knew what happened since it didn't throw any codes. Window actuator failed, Low coolant again...and again! Contacted Gm's Lemon Law dept and they gave me the run around for 6 months. Insert Lemon Law Lawyer here in CA and after 14 months with him, I got all my moneyback, $77k when all was said and done. I had it 5 1/2 years and basically drove it for free, but what an ordeal and a hassle! Ordered my new 2024 GMC 2500 HD AT4-6.6 GAS April 8, 2023, picked it up June 19, 2023 and couldn't be happier! No check engine light Anxiety, tows my trailer like nothing. Now, I don't have a heavy trailer, and I didn't really need the diesel, but I had been in one for so long, I loved it till our esteemed politicians had to get involved and restrict everything...add in all these bogus electronics, DEF fluid, etc...NO THANKS!!!
