This is interesting. I drove my 2019 in sport mode a lot! Never had this issue. But it had the 5.3L. Is this more prone to happen on the 6.2?

I hope it isn’t . This is my first new truck since 2011 and new gmc. I’m still learning about it. But I hope it isn’t an ongoing issue I have to deal with. I have not read too many having constant check engine light one in sport mode. I wanted to see how much gas was used between normal mode and sport mode. So I was driving it in sport mode. Turned engine off but the fan kept going and RVing at a high rate Then I turned it back on and the check engine light came on. 6.2LV8
