Hopefully it's just a simple issue of your capless cover failing to seat back properly and setting off a cel similar to how older vehicles will set one off if the gas cap isn't installed properly. Maybe it just needs the seal and then you'll only be down 25 bucks as opposed to hundreds.

Just tried ordering from WalMart, and order canceled - may not be in stock. Probably taking to mechanic for smoke test this week.

Sadly part number 87858375 has been discontinued and no dealer in the united states show they have any in stock.

UPDATE - Dealer did eventually get part (magically?), replaced, then engine light came back on, back to dealer, they did temporary "fix" (no idea why they didn't do that before), was able to pass emissions, but now waiting on replacement part for the replacement part.
