To be honest I’ve never even taken the physical copy out of the glovebox.I downloaded the pdf. It is a complete manual unlike the physical copy. Found the recommended break in like you said.

I would’t worry about it.Tough to follow a break in procedure when you are flying out to buy a truck and driving it hundreds of miles back home. In my case it was a bit over 400 miles. Can't exactly vary your speeds from 35-65 on the interstate.
Already downloaded the manual. The physical copy is an essential operating and safety manual. Also got the intro guide as well.
