Break in period

I downloaded the pdf. It is a complete manual unlike the physical copy. Found the recommended break in like you said.

To be honest I’ve never even taken the physical copy out of the glovebox.

I've always used the driven, riden, used it like I stole it method. That with good maintenance keeps things moving for me.

Tough to follow a break in procedure when you are flying out to buy a truck and driving it hundreds of miles back home. In my case it was a bit over 400 miles. Can't exactly vary your speeds from 35-65 on the interstate.

I never even thought of it until I read this thread. Not a single frack was given.

Bought my 2023 Silverado with the LZ0, drove it 1000 miles 2 days later. Same with the 2024 AT4 with LZ0. Just made it a point to let it get to operating temp every time I drove it. I only wished I had changed the oil sooner on the first one.

Already downloaded the manual. The physical copy is an essential operating and safety manual. Also got the intro guide as well. Anyway, chalk one up to the dealer for not knowing the difference.
