Blown engine

I purchased a 2025 Sierra 2500 HD with 12,000 mi. Beautiful truck. Within 2 weeks the engine blew up while on the road . Oil & antifreeze mixed and fully coated the entire engine bay . Had to be towed to nearest GMC dealership.
Is this a common issue with this duramax engine?

Not sure yet. Will find out on Tuesday

Not common. Do you check under the hood routinely? Have you just had an oil change done? Likely an oil cooler failure. may be induced by the acdelco OEM oil filter.

I would be pushing for a new engine and new coolant system with lines and everything.
