Blocked front Camera notice from inside windshield condensation.

It does self clear in time which is the out. What is a reasonable amount of time to clear? 30 sec, 2 minutes, 5 minutes? There is no current definition. If it could be solved, that would be great for all of us!! Ultra quick windshield heaters like the ceramic versions by some OEMs in past year do solve it. File the suit and I’ll Venmo you $20 for the cause

I think that is BS. Total speculation without any facts. I get the same issue in my 2024 AT4x HD. I have no leaks. It is general condensation that forms in cold temps. It does not indicate an external leak. Warm air cooling in a confined space will produce condensation. If I remote start mine for 5 minutes before getting in at 4 am no issues. If I don’t remote start I get the message for about 5 minutes of driving until my windshield fully defrosts then it clears. All cars manufactured have defrost for a reason and that is not a leak. If you have any fogging it will produce that message as the camera looks though the windshield. Remote start your truck, run it for a while on cold days, or take the plastic cover off and apply antifog in that area. Not an indicator of a major issue.

Makes total sense to me. How do I get the plastic cover off to apply anti fog? Thank you

Cover removal is pretty easy… use plastic prybar on sides, then remove piece above mirror (it pops out toward the back (windshield) then slide toward dash.. to install reverse process @ 1:20 in this video

I don’t think I’d put antifog on the len. Lens is I’d guess is plastic, I’d put it on the inside if the glass… let me know what you see as you tear ut down.

I realize this is an old thread but anyone have any updates? In addition to my drivers side heated mirror not working from day one, I'm getting the same "camera blocked clean windshield" message as well. I am waiting for yet another (3rd dealer appointment) since buying my truck less than 2 weeks ago.
