Black Plastic Wheel Well Trim, How to Keep it Black

I have the black plastic trim over the wheel wells of my new 2026 AT4 and am concerned that it will soon start to fade like everything on the outside of my 2019 Silverado did. Does anyone have any suggestions of products to put on this plastic to keep it from fading or did I get lucky enough that GM found a better material make up and that’s not a problem anymore?
Is was worried about the same thing, so I went ahead and spent the $$ to swap them out for painted ones.

I use Cerakote on all exterior black vinyl. It lasts a really long time. If your truck is garaged, it will last years. It’s more dramatic on older trim (not totally faded and gray), but I gotta think it protects new trim even better.

I had painted trim on my 2020 Denali, but felt that the black plastic look goes better and makes more sense on a truck more intended for off road.
All I do is hit them with Maguires spray ceramic detailer when I wash it -takes 2 minutes and makes them look great IMO.
