Best 4 ton jack for height?

This has no issues lifting the DRW. Handle locks up, allowing to tilt jack and it will roll over gravel.

That one will have to wait until we get to NV. :( I have two 3ton jacks and two sets of jack stands I will be lugging to NV.

Harbor freight now sells quality tools that are comparable to any name brand or big box store many times at a lower price. The quality and performance has definitely gotten way better. I'm particular about quality as I only want the best too. I've never had a problem with any product, no matter what i have a need for that they provide. You deside..

This is the same one I have. Works just great on the truck. Remember, you aren't lifting your entire truck, only a corner or one end of it. So a 3 ton will work just fine. I've used this several times and absolutely love it! I keep it stowed in the back of my bed because it doesn't get in my way and if I drop a tire, I won't wanna fish out the little jack and monkey with that. This is way safer and faster.

I use the badlands on my 2500 all the time. have used it many times to lift my front end for jack stands. and find it easier to deal with than the daytona especially on the usual driveway slabs that aren't your shop epoxy style. If I had to do it again I'd have skipped daytona all together.

I keep an egg crate in the back with some cut up 2x4's and a bottle jack. Got to use it 1st hand when the daughter hit a curb, shredding the tire sidewall, and bending the rim!

I'm not comprehending what you are using. An egg crate to me, would hold small bolts and nuts.

Are you meaning a milk crate? Yes those make excellent storage boxes.

Especially for albums. Yes, I'm that old. Also used cinder blocks to raise a bed frame off the floor! 😁

Those crates are strong. Rather than use cardboard boxes, I'll be using several milk crates for transporting a bunch of cans from my shop, car polishes, lubricants, grease, detailing sprays etc. for our move to NV. I have no idea how I acquired them though; I feel they came with me during my move from UK to USA almost thirty years ago. :ROFLMAO:
