Batterys keep dying

The charging threshold in these trucks is ultra sensitive meaning you would definitely get a code if the alternator dips in charging.

Anybody else had this & what was the fix / problem

On my 3 rd battery in 6 months All warrantied by dealer
They have checked for parastic draw & say no excess draw ???? They blame it on the AGM battery say have had slot of bad ones
I really cant believe something is pulling batter down to 11.6 when it sits for a few days

When they put new battery in its gine if I drive every fay Also I notice its always charging at 15.4 when driving for hours
It seems like it thinks old bad battery still truck

Do these trucks need a RESET with scan tool when installing new battery ???

I have had the same problem twice on my 2024 GMC 1500. Both times it was after I was working on items with ignition off and for a very short period of time. One time it would start at all, the second time it started, put in garage and later wouldn't start. first time voltmeter read 4.2v second time it read 8.2v. I am tired of going to dealer without solution. I realize this isn't a "safety issue" however I believe it is time to file complaints with NTSB as GMC isn't resolving this issue on its own.
