I have had my 2024 AT4 for just over 2 years with just over 18k miles. Just got back from over a 600 mile round trip over the weekend. Filled up before coming back but I had a thought of driving back without filling up but wanted to minimize stops. Bottom line and the meat of the post: If anyone is on the fence of getting the 3.0 Duramax, do it! What other full size truck will get you 33.3mpg on the highway averaging 60mph (speed limit was 65 to 70)! Ok, so I thought I had a tail wind but when I got home the truck's computer said I had 32.5mpg so I wouldn't chalk it up to that as I don't think I had a tail wind both ways. Even if I did, still over 30!
