Sorry….i meant the matte black ….its a perfect match …Does flat black match better than matte?
Never mind. I misread the initial post.If you are referring to the black wrap on the tailgate and the GMC letters sit on top of it, then yes. I had a bubble in mine. Took a couple of months to get the wrap in but they replaced it for me at zero cost. They actually sent me to a place that does wraps so that it would be done properly.
I hear you on the Ford Tremor that is where I started. About impossible to get a loaded one though. I put an order in for a 2022 F250 Platinum 7.3 gas with the tremor package, order did not get built and rolled over to 2023. My order did not get picked up until September 2023. When it finally got picked up the ford dealer screwed me and told me they were adding a 10k charge over the msrp because they (the higher end trims above Lariat, and tremor package) are in such demand. That took a 86k truck up to 96k. Then GMC came out with the 2500 version of the AT4X which lines up almost identical to the platinum tremor. Put in that order and waited then found one in Texas and flew there and got it for 85k.I have two bubbles on mine and a scratch (self inflicted) which the dealer is using as one of the excuses to void the warranty on it. They used every dealer scam answer to avoid fixing this. Called GMC and to my surprise they said it’s up to the dealer to provide warranty. This is a quick way to lose customers… the Ford Tremor is starting to look enticing…

I was a ford guy but those dealers screw you just as much, getting a custom built high end build is almost impossible and those trucks have similar gremlins as well.
You are absolutely right about the options/ pricing on the trucks… it’s just frustrating to spend so much money on one and get treated like crap by a service manager who doesn’t want to do his job and is clearly unprofessional. I am sure Ford is full of those as well. In the meantime GMC is laughing all the way to the bank with my money.I hear you on the Ford Tremor that is where I started. That's cool. I messed around with the clear wrap, wet and thought it came out good. I'll have to look up the dry wrap to see how its done. I give you credit for sticking with it.I just went through the same... my son opened my tailgate into my hitch and tore the vinyl. Tried my own install after the dent was removed, complete disaster. Tried to install wet and it never stuck properly. Wasted a $120 part. Ordered another and paid an install shop to do. Terrible job, installed too low and crooked, stretched and wrapped around the edges. Tore it off as soon as I got back home. Ordered a 3rd, took my time and installed myself dry. Not as difficult as I originally thought, just needed some patience. Now installed perfectly!
