Not gonna sugarcoat it. Theirs a med-high probability if that motor hasn't been replaced already it will seize or blowup (not literally). Wish you the best of luck and let GM replace it if it does. Drive it like ya stole it.

lol. Y’all are incredible. Medium to high probability? What does that mean? 40% plus? If that were the case you’d see GMC trucks broken down on the side of the road every day.

I’m on my third truck with the 6.2 over the last 10 years. Well over 200,000 miles and not a single issue

There is always a chance of a problem. But I’d bet the problem engines are well below 1%.
