If I were to get a 1500 Elevation with the Max tow package which brings the tow capacity to ~13,000 and then after market add a 2" lift kit to get the extra clearance to get closer to the AT4/AT4X. Is there any way to estimate the tow capacity of making this upgrade to an Elevation? Does it just bring it back down closer to an AT4/AT4X and I should just get the AT4/AT4X. I ask this because GMC is not willing to offer the AT4/AT4X with the max tow package.

I almost purchased the Elevation. Im really glad I purchased the AT4. If towing is #1 priority and AT4X will not provide what you need obviously get an Elevation. Most of the trim models are “packages” of bells whistles etc. but if the one thing you can not get is not available then pick it first and go from there. My preference was all the stuff I could not add myself and worked down from there.Example Adding tow capacity may not be cost effective.
