Anyone installed a DV8 off-road tube bumper? Now I have…

After much noodling through the wiring schematics I have figured out I can grab high beam signal from circuit 311 or 711 anywhere between the LCM and the headlights.

For the backlights I think I will just grab an ignition switched source from anywhere since I want them on pretty much all the time, anyone know of a good ignition switched source in the main (engine bay) fuse block that I can tap?
Fuel pump is what I would go after.

Got the bumper mounted and all the lights installed but only the fogs wired up so far, the relay block I ordered should arrive today so I can get the rest running… sorry no pics until then.

I’ll type up a long post with my full thoughts later, but for now I would not recommend this project for anyone with the 3.0 duramax unless you are VERY competent with modifying parts. I’m in contact with the DV8 tech team to hopefully get their installation instructions updated, but the entire lower air shutter assembly was not mentioned in the instructions so I had to hack it and it’s mounts up pretty badly to get the bumper to even fit.

Oh almost forgot, anyone need any stock front bumper parts in titanium rush?

Shoot, thats not what I wanted to hear........

Sorry to leave this hanging, I’m traveling for work so can’t get back to the project until this weekend at the earliest.

To update, the tech guys have been great to deal with so far and it sounds like there is just an oversight with the instructions. The kit actually includes the bracket needed to delete the lower air shutters entirely (ADD charges over $100 for essentially the same part), I just didn’t know that’s what it was because those pages were missing from the instructions. They are supposed to be revising the installation guide and sending me the missing info so that I can do it the right way.

I got the pod lights wired up and working, the amber backlights along with the amber DRL mod looks great…. But you will have to wait a little longer for pics.
