Dear General Motors Corporation,
I absolutely love my GMC 1500 AT4. It’s powerful, comfortable, sharp-looking, and probably one of the best trucks I’ve ever owned.
Unfortunately, I may have to sell it.
Not because of the engine. Not because of the transmission. Not because of reliability.
Because my washer fluid is low.
Yes, GM, I know.
You told me.
Then you told me again.
And again.
And apparently, every 15 minutes, you feel compelled to remind me—as if I might suddenly forget that I have failed to maintain an adequate supply of windshield-cleaning fluid.
At this point, my AT4 feels less like a truck and more like a concerned parent saying, “Did you remember your washer fluid?”
I understand the warning. I appreciate the concern. Please let it go.
I love this truck, but if I eventually sell it, it won't be because I wanted to. It will be because I could no longer tolerate the relentless psychological warfare over a $3 bottle of blue liquid.
Please, GM, give me the option to acknowledge the warning once and then let me get back to enjoying the truck I love.
Sincerely,
A Very Annoyed—but Still Loyal—GMC Owner
