my local sams club has 93 and that's all she has ever had. I do that because it is said that the 6.2 needs 91+. It sucks having to put in the more expensive gas but its not too bad especially since I left Cali.
Good to know thanks for the info. Never had an issue finding premium fuel 91+I asked a GM guy about this at a truck event. I have the 6.2 and am finding lately there are times I am unable to get 91 octane. I have been driving GMC 6.2 trucks/SUVs since it came out in 2007 and never had trouble finding 91 or higher until recently. I hope this is not a trend? He said it was "just fine" to run 87 or 89 in my truck..."so you might have 400 hp as opposed to 420 so not a big deal". He did recommend when switching to a different octane run the tank as low as possible before filling up with the new octane. I have done this twice and really didn't notice a difference.

Are you near a costco, last time I was there a couple of weeks ago it was 1.50 a liter for premium (@ 5.70 US a gallon). Looks like it's about 1.58 today. Peterborough OntarioYou guys are all lucky, we are $2.10-2.25 a Liter here for 91-94 in good old stupid Canada, which works out to $8 a gallon or more. That's in Canadian but still would be over $6 US and they are saying it will be around $3 this summer.
Costco here is about .10 sometimes .20 cents cheaper (just depends on when the gas stations change their prices), so that is usually where I try and fill up, but I'm just outside of Vancouver. Today it was $2.02 a liter for 91 at gas stations where I am, if I drive 20 minutes farther towards Vancouver it is $2.25 or more. We get shafted over here. Are you near a costco, last time I was there a couple of weeks ago it was 1.50 a liter for premium (@ 5.70 US a gallon). Looks like it's about 1.58 today.
