I have a 2" ready lift on the front on top of the factory lift to level it out. running 305/45r22 Toyo A/T with a 1.5" spacer just to kick the tire out some. I had to do minor trimming.
I have found so many set ups in here all with diff degrees of success. Trimming is subjective. Almost all big tire setups require some. I added a small spacer to improve UCA clearance and the rubbing was worse. Tires/steering geometry changes so easily. One question I don’t see asked is what engine owners have. I have the 3.0 and it is slightly heavier than either the 6.2/5.3. I added lift with strut changes and not spacers. Are those with just strut changes having more issues regarding tire rub than others.
I have not changed struts, only UCA and I have the 3.0l also. I agree spacers make rubbing worst. I have a buddy that had the same truck as me with 35x12.50r22 with a 1/4" spacer and he was rubbing just a little worst than I was before trimming, I also did mud flap delete that helps out some.
