2500 to 1500 & AT4X vs Tremor

I’m planning to downsize from my 2025 AT4 HD to a 1500 or something similar. I love the HD, but don’t use it for what it’s made for. I have a relatively short drive to/from work & don’t haul anything. I’m having a hard time justifying keeping it, even as much as I love it, due to the stage of life I’m in.
The AT4X 1500 have caught my eye since they’re similar to what I already own. However, the Ford Tremor’s have piqued my interest recently due to the full moon-roof, style, etc. I know I’m in an AT4 forum and will have some bias, but has anyone had similar interests? What made you go with the AT4/X?

You really need to spec the Ford model to compare pros and cons. Tremor is just the off road package added to many for the ford models. You can add the Tremor to a low level trim all the way up.

The AT4X lines up with a F150 with the Platinum package and Tremor package added.

If you compare a base level ford with Tremor package to a AT4X the ford will be much lower price with far less tech and comforts, but both will have front and rear locking diffs in the 1500’s, similar height, suspension, and wheels and tires.

Build a Platinum package Ford with Tremor added and then do a comparison to the AT4X and you can see differences pros/cons. Most options line up pretty well between the Ford and GMC. Style, and powertrain are the biggies in my opinion. Panoramic moon roof, lay flat seats, pro power, multimatic tail gate are some differences.

I ordered a Platinum Ford 250 with Tremor first and it never got built, then I got the AT4X HD. The style of the gmc made the ford look outdated and an old man truck in my option. But I also really wanted the pro power and panoramic moon roof the ford offered. Price was identical in my case.
