25 Yukon cl AT 4

I’m contemplating buying loadeda 25 AT 4 ,35k miles,6.2L. The engine lifters failed at 30 K, fixed under warranty, 5k miles later the rods failed major damage. Owners sold it to the gmc dealer and bought an Expedition and that engine failed shortly afterwards.
Dealer had ordered a new GM crate 6.2. Warranty at this point is only for balance of 5/60 powertrain warranty.
I’ve researched & Chatcpt states NTSB is investigating 25-26 6.2s under #EA25007.
I put only 8k miles on a year & plan to keep it 8+ years .color, options & price
With this information would you proceed with the sale or pass?

I would pass with only 25k miles left on warranty. Surprised the new crate engine only has balance of the 5/60.

Thanks,25s are not yet included in the 100/150 k recall warranty. If investigation reveals their bad it should be.
I’m going to confirm by engine part # that crate motor includes the latest GM “fix” revisions. Question is will these fixes cure the L87/6.2Llifter & rod bearings problems?
