MBRP has come out with a 30° tip for our exhaust. So I installed the black tip hoping to keep from frying trailers when the soot gets burned out of the dpf. Easy enough to try, it was a lay down on the job, job...

It does not. It is a tap, so it shares power. Very easy to install, nothing to unhook or move. Insert the wire taps, 2 zip ties and put the trim housing back on.

Actually it isn't. I wasn't willing to drop that coin, although I am sure the MBRP is a quality product and will probably look better, longer. So I gave this one a whirl. Pretty nice. Heavy, solid bolt up. Time will tell. Could have probably used one a few inches longer, but you have to be low to see the stock exhaust. For the price, I'm satisfied.

It has been a while since I posted, got crazy busy. Done a couple of things since the last post. Greenish NC legal tint from dealer removed and front sides, front and rear properly tinted.

Came time to have my tires rotated and they fellas threw on the black center caps and black lugs while they were doing that. Saved me a bunch of work ;-) Didn't realize how good that would actually look when done.

Swapped out the cheap crap oil fill, DEF and diesel caps for nice aluminum magnetic backed ones from DMAX. Much nicer.

A few things still on deck, I'll update when I get them done.

The black out emblem covers from Etsy are doing great despite probably 30 auto car washes. That was money well spent if you are doing the black out thing.

For the money and effort, the LED floor lighting and stupid motion glove box lights is a no brainer. Having a backlit floor for some ambient light looks great and is functional. I keep mine on red and it returns to red every time. But there are 10000 colors. It'll even flash to the music beat if you are into that sort of thing or having fun in the backseat. And being able to see the cubby or glove boxes without having to get out my EDC flashlight is very helpful considering my teen's 15 year old VW has them (hint hint GMC).
