2024 AT4X AEV come standard with tailgate Kicker?

It's standard equipment for an AT4X.

AEV edition has nothing to do with the stereo.

As far as it not connecting, it's a bit buggy. Mine works and comes on every time I drop the multipro now, automatically. If I don't want it to play, I just turn it down from my phone.

If you want to see my window sticker, to prove it's standard, let me know.

you should still hold the dealer accountable for it. I think it is around $800 accessory

Definitely check your window sticker but it should've come as standard equipment for the AT4X and above. Optional on the AT4. Mine came with it and I've used it a few times but it's not something I would've paid to have installed otherwise.

O U paid for it alright..

Mine came with the kicker sound system. I would rather the lights versus a buggy sound system. I'm looking into the Amazon versus OEM lights. Probably go with Amazon.

You can have both. I installed the tailgate step lights along with the OEM kicker system. I put these lights in. I think about $110 cheaper than OEM step lights. I think those were $150 or 160 when I checked. Plug and play wire harness.

For some reason, I can't get a firm answer if that kicker tailgate system comes as a standard feature for the 2014 AT4X AEV. The one I purchased is missing it and I thought it was a standard piece of equipment. Any know for sure? Can't let the dealer rip me off.
It's optional

How are they activated/turned on?
The lights I posted are identical to the OEM step light kit. Kit comes with both lights and wire harness same as OEM wire harness. You open the tail gate step and unscrew and remove the plastic cover that holds the kicker speakers and task lights. unplug the light harness that is inside your tailgate and supplies power to the tailgate handle task light. Plug the OEM plug into the new light harness, plug one conveyor on to the tailgate handle task light and the other 2 ends to the 2 new step lights. The harness then sends the same task light power signal to both the step lights. When you turn on task light switch the tailgate handle task light as well as the step lights turn on. All plug and play.

I am an idiot, I did even know I had a tailgate task light switch. Is that the cargo light switch on the dash?

Yes task lighting from the mirrors, cargo lighting separate button, does light up in the 3rd break light, bed lighting, tailgate handle light, and step lights if u have them

You can put lights in the kicker.
Or 2 filler plates and 2 filler plates with lights. Or just 4 filler plates the way the tailgate comes from factory.
You can have the kicker and the lights? I thought it was one or the other. I'll have to take a look at that tonight when I get home.
