I bought a used 2024 2500 hd AT4 and was told it had adaptive cruise control , but found out later that it did not come with ACC. Is there a way to have it installed? The used car dealership I purchased it from believed it was part of the package and I understand it is now as of the 2025 AT4 models.
It has a front camera and the light turns amber when a vehicle is close in front of me.
Is it just a programming option to have it, or not.
I asked the service department in Helena, but got no response.

I would also agree that adaptive cruise would not be able to be installed after the fact.

Most of us here, gives ACC a thumbs down.

My 2024 2500 AT4X Thunderstorm Grey has it, yours should too. When I set my cruise control in traffic and I come upon slower traffic the truck slows to traffic speed and up again automatically when traffic speed resumes higher. I think it's standard on the 2500 AT4X

Take a picture of your rear view mirror while standing by the hood facing the truck from the outside through the front windshield. That's the only way to tell if you have the hardware for it.
