This past month has been a long one. Truck went into limp mode and took it to the dealer. Dealer advised fuel pressure module was bad and they noticed it had a transmission shutter that they wanted to check. Note I had it a a different dealer twice for the shutter and they only updated the transmission program.
They advised no metal, but it needed a torque converter. That was all done with module covered under aftermarket warranty and transmission under GM warranty.
Truck has 50k at this point. I get it back on a Friday and no different, same shutter. Plus now the auto high beams, lane assist and front collision do not work. And I take it back Monday morning. They advised the valve body in the transmission is bad and the camera. I’m in a loaner at this point when after a week they say they now need to rebuild the transmission with valve body and front pump and seals. All covered under GM warranty. Fast forward to today when they call and say on the test drive after transmission rebuild they still feel something and think it’s motor related. They want to do a cold start tomorrow morning and see what it’s showing. Also to not this motor was replaced once at 2k miles.
I have filed a lemon law clam last week so I will see where that leads, but may take months in which I would like to get out of this truck sooner then later. LOL
Thanks for reading, sorry for the long post! Hoping it’s not a major motor issue, but my confidence in this truck is low.
