What did you do to your AT4 today?

How do you like the Hyperdip? I was going to do some Plastidip, but this is looking to be a better option.
I find the Hyper dip is great. I had my truck ceramic coated after I had done them and the detailer messed up the GMC on the tailgate so I will be redoing them in the spring. I used the Shadow black which is more matte and I think I might try the glossy Piano black in the spring. Wish I had a heated garage to do them before spring. lol.

Did you wrap it? And did you have to remove it?
I did not remove the 3rd brake light. The task of removing the headliner and not breaking something was too much. I wrapped it with tint and I actually used knifeless tape before I put the tint on and outlined the white/reverse part of the light. Sorry for the late response.

First bath today. Had to get the salt off of it.

How does the bar install to the grille ?
Zip ties. Not terribly difficult. You need smaller hands to fit in between grill slots if you not going to take the grill off. Also the AT4 vertical support posts don't match up 100% with the light bar so both ends are made up of 3 zip ties to wrap around the offset of the bars. I'm thinking of purchasing some epoxy glue for the ends and middle which are plastic to separate the two sections and add a bit of glue to the bar and grill.

I installed the Auxbeam board and ran the wiring the same way DONSLIFE did on his youtube channel.

The bar can be hooked up directly to turn on when you start the truck but currently I have mine into one of the auxbeam slots so I can turn it off and on whenever.

1 frustrating thing is you have to manually change the modes and DLR by touching a wire to the ground. Each time you touch the wire to the ground it changes modes. You can see it in the install video on putcos website. I was hoping to tie it into the the ground of one of the auxbeam slots so I can turn the button on and off to switch between the start-up modes and the DLR but it did not work. I'm not a wiring guy so i could have done it wrong.

First time forum user and just purchased a 2022 AT4 last Saturday. First, I am looking for help or thoughts on should I just do a muffler up grade( borla s-type or attack) not sure which one or a flowmaster 10? Been watching sound clips and still not sure. Second , or should I look at doing a cat back system instead?

I am not looking for super loud at all and for sure no Droning in the cab, just good sounds that will not wake up the neighbors. Looking forward to learning more about options everyone has done.
I installed the S Type in my 2022 6.2 and it is pretty loud, very glad I didn't go with the ATAK

Same here. The S-Type was louder than I thought. I am sorry for my neighbors but I love it and glad I didn't go with the ATAK either.

Picked mine up Friday night. Drove about 45 minutes to stay with an old friend for the night. Drove about 840 miles Saturday, another 850 on Sunday and then finally got home yesterday after another 600 miles. Changed my route several times in an attempted to not get caught up in a some storm activity. Hit some rain and snow on Saturday and Sunday anyway. Got to use the 4HI and 4 AUTO a little bit. Remote start to get everything warmed up Sunday morning when it was around 10 degrees out. Overall pretty impressed with the truck. It's way bigger than my work vehicle or my personal car I am replacing so that is going to take some getting used to. Enjoyed the ride quality on most road surfaces. Had some impressive mpg splits on the drive especially in traffic. Love the torque of the Duramax.

Latest upgrade:

Window tint 22% (to match the factory rears)

New shoes. 285/60/20 Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires. (Super smooth ride and very quiet) so far👍🏻
Looks sharp! You can black out those rims for cheap with icutdecals on Etsy…really blends in nice and complete the rim! I’m doing mine now and will post a comparison pic hopefully by weekend!
