Out of the box I like them much better than stock (less floaty). That said, the shop had it set a little too soft for me. I have been adjusting the settings one click at a time trying to dialed in.

I think that you are correct. They were the correct part number, but the mounting was incorrect. I have since went with some Fox 2.5 coilovers and they fit fine. The Fox 23 and 24 is the same part number.
I measured the bolt spacing on the LCA today. It is 4”. The Bilstein mount measures 3.5”. I don’t get it. The LCA has not changed from 23 to 24 according to gm parts site.

So I brought my truck to the shop today to have a Readylift SST 2.0 lift kit along with B8 5100s installed. Evidently, GMC has changed something about how the shock mounts. I have not picked up the truck to look for myself what is different. Maybe I am the dummy for assuming no difference...
I just got a steal of a deal on a Fabtech 4'' lift kit(K1136). I was going just do a Readylift SST 2.0, but the deal on the Fabtech was too good to pass up. I have noticed that it lifts the truck by spacers, spindles, and new crossmember.
