I just got my Yukon finished with my mods:
* Talons Skid plates for the engine and transmission. The transfer skid from Talons doesn't fit if you have Air Ride. However, the transfer skid from Rival 4x4 does, so I was able to put that one on instead. Nice upgraded skids.
* Rocky Road rock sliders - love them, although I wish they were wider. They aren't the best steps at this width and don't stick out past the door panel enough, but otherwise are very nice.
* Octane rear bumper (from Baseline Overland, made by Chassis Unlimited) - appears that I was the first person to buy one of these, and my mechanic took a lot longer than he thought to install, and also had to drill a hole for spare access, but once that was done, I was very happy with the result. Super strong bumper and I think lots way better than all that plastic hanging off the back of the car. I had already scratched up my bottom bumper pretty good off-road and this will be a big improvement. I also like having the recovery points.
* 1" lift using the Edgy Mod lifts
* Cables and quick disconnects running to the rear so I can use a hitch mounted winch
The only other mods I want is to get bigger tires, but waiting for these to wear down more first. I'm not going to 35s; I plan to stick around 33.7" so I can still fit the full size spare.
The other mod I really want is a fuel skid. I really worry about that, and am talking to Talons to hopefully find a solution for that.
