Window Sticker Error - Short v. Standard Box?

Here's the root of the question - will your window sticker specify a "Standard Box" Truck?

I ordered a 24 1500 AT4, and I have an order sheet from my dealer exported from the ordering system that very clearly specifies a standard box. Yet, the window sticker just went live after the truck was shipped to the dealer and under standard equipment says "Crew Cab Short Box 4WD" and nowhere on the window sticker (standard equipment, options, otherwise) does it list a standard box.

Window Sticker Error? Just won't list it? Order or build Error?

For what it's worth, I think they messed up the order. I'm seeing some other trucks that have it correct.

Unless it's a screwup with the sticker in some way, dealer is going to be refunding me my deposit and I'm walking away.

But is your truck actually a short box, or a standard box? The point in my case is that the truck is 100% supposed to be a standard box and that's documented on the order sheet.

What I want to know is how my Order Workbench report they sent me says Standard Box, yet the VIN and Window Sticker came through Short Box.

Still waiting to hear from the dealer and I'd love to be surprised, but my assumption at this point is I'm going to have to ask for my deposit back and put in an order for a 2025.

Both my window sheet and VIN say standard box and that is what I have (short box doesn't work for my needs). Unfortunately I'd say you're probably right and what is delivered will be a short box, especially if that's what the VIN states. Here's to hoping GM has started screwing up paperwork now too!

Does your window sticker say TK10743 anywhere on it, or does it say TK10543?
These are the 2 model codes that will tell you for sure which bed you'll be getting.
TK10743 is the 4WD Standard Bed Crew Cab and TK10543 is the 4WD Short Bed Crew Cab

I would say all the dealer did was confirm that they ordered it correctly, it's just not being built correctly for some reason.

That's my assumption too. Too late to change anything with it having already shipped, so unless there's a surprise when it comes in they'll have to work things out with GM and I'm going to be back to the beginning of the line ordering a 2025.

I'll update when I know for sure.

SLIGHT silver lining: the 2025s start production on Aug 19th, so if you order before then (possibly from a different dealer?) you MIGHT not have too long of an extra wait, though you've probably already been waiting long enough. HOPEFULLY it's a misprint and it shows up with the bed that you ordered and you don't have to worry about ordering again.

I would bet that the window sticker is right and they got your order wrong.
