Well, why did you get an AT4 over its competition? Was it because it is a GMC? Does it have to do with options/the engine? Or is it looks that drew you to the AT4? Or maybe I'm missing something?

If you got an AT4 HD, why didn't you get an F-250/350 Tremor?

If you got an 1500 AT4, why didn't you get an F-150 Tremor, a Trail Boss, or a RAM Rebel?

If you got a Canyon AT4, why didn't you get a Colorado ZR2 or a Ranger Tremor?

Got mine cause I've been a GM man from the get go in life, another reason was the looks and options. I started looking at the Chev Highcountry but didn't like all the chrome and bling.. Was originally looking for a 2500 but then in further research went to the 3500... NO regrets there.. My salesman turned me on to the AT4 and I never looked back.. LOVE my selection..

I agree with just about everything you said :)

Well, in the last several years I had a:
2009 Ford F-150 Lariat (gas)
2013 Ford F-150 King Ranch (eco- boost gas)
2015 Ford F-250 King Ranch (powerstoke diesel)
2019 Ram 3500 Limited Dually (6.7 Cummins Diesel)
And now the 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 (6.2 Gas)
My work truck is a 1998 Dodge 2500 flatbed with the Cummins engine. (And an OJ model Ford Bronco)
ALL were/are great trucks! All served their purpose well. I was just ready to down size from the Dually and Cummins engine as i dont pull a loaded horse or hay trailer every day of the week anymore. I really like the looks of the AT4 and how it feels. The 6.2 has plenty of torque and horsepower for everything I need to do. Obviously I’m not a “Make” loyal truck buyer. I believe with today’s technology and quality, that if you follow a regular maintenance schedule and take care of them- all makes are excellent. Certainly there are pros and cons to all- but that’s what makes it fun. Plus I love to tinker and mod my trucks to make my original!

I used to buy chevy trucks, but I hate the headlights they've had in recent years. My last 3 trucks were Denali HD, but I no longer need to tow heavy things as often. I wanted something sporty and fun, with less chrome. AT4 with the 6.2 fit the bill, only wish it had the max tow option....but with the current market I was just happy to find one. Around here the used ones are asking more than msrp, that's why I bought new.

I was in exactly the same situation. Loving mine!

Well, been looking at trucks for a while - and the choice for GMC over others really boiled down to a few things.
1) GM offered one of the better supplier pricing discounts off MSRP
2) I don't like RAM (despite being the top rated truck)
3) Ford as I would spec was too pricey.

Also my Father in law has a 2019 RST and having driven it quite a few times and I liked it. However to get the features I wanted (leather, tech package) I could go to the high country OR the AT4 and the AT4 looks much better IMO - the high country is too much chrome. Same with the Denali - just a bit understated.

I did however go with the 5.3. The 6.2 would get me in trouble and my normal work commute would not be great for the diesel (work commute is less than 5 miles).

I was always a Toyota guy and still am. I had 3 Tundras and all were great trucks and never had any problems even thru the miles and rough driving I did. But towing a loaded 20 ft enclosed trailer with a racecar, golf cart, generator, tents, tools, etc back to El Paso from San Antonio I did realize I had reached the limit on the Tundra. I did not feel like burning up a transmission towing to and from the track. Especially since I am getting a 28ft trailer soon. I worked at a GMC dealer and always loved the quality and solid feel of the trucks. Since Toyota never could make up their mind on a diesel the only option for me was the GMC. Once I saw an AT4HD Diesel I had to have one.....5 months, and many searches, dealer calls, etc I got a hold of one. everything except for goosenecktowing. No Need for that. Picked up my At4 in Henderson, TX and the drive home was awesome. 24.5mpg and crusing at 85 in technology and leather comfort!! For me, I think GMC did everything right on this truck. Been driving it since May and always look forward to driving it some more!! Upcoming mods are the usual intake and exhaust and then we'll see about a tuner chip. I just cant leave anything alone.....

Pretty new member here. But as for my reasons, I’ve had a few Chevrolet trucks. Avalanche and 2 Silverados. The ones I’ve had have been good to me. Never had any problems with them. My grandfather always had a Chevrolet truck, so I wanted to carry on the family tradition. The looks of this AT4 are really good. It has exceeded my expectations so far. And I think it looks better than the Silverados, just my .02 though.

Similar story here. I've always had a Chevy. 2001 Silverado 1500 (5.3L), 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 (6.6L Dura) This is technically my first "GMC" so I'm hoping to have a good experience. So far, I like it.
