My 23 is just like your 24 after a 2.5 gallon oil change. But the 22 is right at the top of the cross hatch.

Sticks are the same length. Must be the tube or there is a dent in the pan on the 22! 😃

Mine was nearly at the top when I drove it off the lot too. I can't find any definitive answers for where it should be. In the manual it's reading as if as long as it's somewhere on the hash area between the lines then it's good.

Just ordered some amsoil. Will change it next week when it arrives and update

Been monitoring mine, and unless I wait a good two hours or even overnight on perfectly level ground I can get a reading lower on the hash marks. Waiting will usually show at the top.

I changed my oil, put in a full 10 quarts and was reading above the top mark after waiting overnight. Drained I estimate 3/8 of a quart and added a little bit. Now I'm dead center. Going to keep it somewhere around center.
