Ok, looks like nobody has responded. Although I don't know about the 3.0, it usually happens every 500 to 1000 miles if I remember correctly.

You will notice a drop in the MPGs when the truck goes through a regen. It lasts for 15-20 miles if I remember correctly.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hello everyone
I was wondering the same thing. I picked up the Idash from banks . I also add hotshots fuel additive every fill up. I believe this is extending my Reagens drastically. The truck runs sooo much smoother with it.

I just talked with them yesterday (Banks) and ordered the Super gauge since I just wanted a monitor. I ordered the wind shield mount with it. I am curious on my regens as well. I am currently idling (15-20mph) for about 10 miles back in on lease road several times a day. The check engine light has come on and it was code P2C71 (SCR NOx catalyst efficiency below threshold Bank 1 Catalyst 2). It has done this twice and goes over after a while. I do hear when the exhaust note changes, but I am putting the gauge on like the others here so I can monitor the Regen, as well as transmission temps, Turbo psi. and other items.
Have you seen any other mounts for the gauge? I have seen the ones where you replace the a pillar, but do not want to replace the whole piece. Just wondering if the make a bracket that may snap on to the pillar with a pod in it. Now to figure out how to set it up and what I want on display.

My temp gauge rides just to the right of 210, but every once in a while it will move over one full mark on gauge (hotter). Is that possibly part of the regen process? I’ve checked to ensure all of the fluids are topped off. Will be installing the Banks super gauge tomorrow so that will help. E correlate if it’s related

Frank, have you watched your oil temperature yet on the banks? I'm showing 225 just around town. Is it normal to be that high. Setting my gauges up with one page dedicated to the regen information like you have listed.

Started the 190 mile trip towing my 22’ bay boat up to the lake. Trip started off with Regen and soot level at 78%. While towing, my numbers went down instead of climbing to reach Regen process. Is that because exhaust temps are higher while towing and burns off soot?
As soon as I started home and not towing my numbers went back up and finally went into the Regen process.

Sorry for the late response. Yes when your towing or climbing up a grade you’ll see the exhaust temps climb just like on a regen which I believe is why the soot% level drops.
My truck does the same thing when I get home or next day the soot% are different.

I just got back from a 1200 mile road trip in the truck. Like I said on my last post I use the Hot Shots fuel additive so my regens are few now. So on the soot% and the Regen% are always fluctuating on my truck. Like clock work my truck will start at 621 since last regen regardless of soot%
My last stretch home was flagstaff Az back home to SoCal with 1/2 tanks.
I highly recommend the Hot Shots

I have been using it over the last it over the last 4 tanks. I believe you are right on the regen times being longer. My mileage went down when I went from the stock Good year SL rated all terrains to the same size KO2's, but they are a "D" rated tire and heavier. It does seem to run smoother though

I also swapped the good years for the KO2s
I had them at 50Psi which the tire shop Set them to. I dropped them back to the factory 35psi on this trip and noticed a big difference in ride comfort but the road noise was louder . What psi are you running your KO2s at?
