Hey everyone,
Had a question and hoping all of you have more experience than I. Just purchased a 2025 AT4 HD 6.6 Diesel and have a travel travel camper that’s probably around 7000 lbs loaded. I was pulling it with a Nissan Titan using a weight distribution hitch. The Titan pulled it ok especially after installing some aftermarket suspension items to remove the worse up/down, up/ down every time I hit a dip in the road.
Hoping that the AT4 will pull much better and sure it will. My question, reading what I can find, I’m finding that I don’t need the WDH anymore but saw its was good just for the sway but the truck has all of the electronic anti sway. Your thoughts on using or not using the WDH? The camper is the biggest thing I have to pull. Thanks

I would. Might not necessarily "need" it, especially for a short trip, but it will make your trip more enjoyable and easier. Not sure of your tongue wait, but I'm guessing it still is going to make your HD squat a little in the rear. Maybe not as bad as a 1500, but you still want to level out that wait across your truck if you can. Best thing you can do is hook it up and take some before and after measurements. I find pictures help as well for you to visualize. And of course, if you have access to truck stop scales.

Thanks for the advice. That is what I was leaning towards to use it being I had it. I do have a tongue weight scale for trailers. Getting ready to take the camper out of storage so looks like I’ll be doing some measuring and calculations soon and adjusting the WDH to the new truck.

I'm right there with you. Mine comes out of storage this weekend for our first trip of the year next weekend. Gotta adjust all my stuff for this truck too. 3rd truck on this camper
