Hey all! Really itching to get some vent visors on my new AT4. But Im really stuck on which brand and which style (IN-CHANNEL vs. TAPE-ON) to run with. Ive used both in the past and each have pros and cons. But these days there are a million options to choose from. Anyone have any feedback on their recent addition of vent visors to their Sierra? Any and all feedback would be appreciated. Both on looks and function.....

Cheers,

JR

I’m surprised that you haven’t gotten a response but I’ll share my experience.
Spend a little extra money to get a name brand as the fit will be better and they will last longer in years to come. Also myself I prefer the in-channel type, in case something should ever happen and one breaks or fades. It’s going to be a pita if you ever have to clean the tape glue off of the paint.

Getchasum is correct. Get the in channel ones. They wont damage the paint and also are car wash safe so far for me. Really easy install also. I got the Clim-Art ones off Amazon and they look slim but not too slim where they are not functional. Here is the link for them if you need.

I have in channel on all my vehicles. I feel they look better. Just make sure the felt channel is clean and you get good adhesion by leaving the windows closed for a while. If you don’t and it hits the windows you may not be able to use the auto up as it will sense resistance and reverse the window. I had the WT’s on my AT4 for 8 months and not a single issue.

As far as brand. I have weathertechs on my AT4. I’ve used weathertechs on other cars and never had an issue.

Autoventshade is also good. I had these on several vehicles. I broke a 10 year old set on my Honda and they replaced them without question.

Printed and left on wifes night stand.
