I’ve got less than 1k on my 23’ AT4 and have noticed that the truck seems to feel loose and unsettled when I hit any road imperfection at highway speed. Anyone else have the same experience or any tips or modifications to improve the highway stability? Would going to a Bilstein 5100 front and rear help? Thanks for the info

I have installed the Bilstein 5100 on the rear and and so far on highway driving only I have not noticed any difference. I will update my post when I have had a chance to drive on a washboard gravel road. The rear Rancho's I removed extended out just like the Bilsteins even though some say they are not gas filled. I did plan on installing the fronts as well but couldn't remove the shock from the bottom of the A frame using a jack or prying it up so far now I have given up until fall.
My truck is a 22 R 1500 CC AT4 LM2 and I noticed that it wanders on our paved roads that are slightly dished because of heavy loads. I replaced the Duratracs with Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires and the road noise and wandering went away. My truck never felt loose when crossing frost heaves etc. with either tires.

At this time I would not recommend the Bilstein unless your shocks are worn out, (which they aren't) mine at 6000miles/10,000 km are like new. JMO🤑 A few have said they make a difference??

Yes. Mine would jump and skip sideways noticeably on pavement transitions when new. Since things have ‘broken in’ that behavior seems to have gone away.

Check your air pressure too. Suspension is breaking in still and I noticed mine seemed a bit floaty in the front for the first 1500 miles but feels better now.

I remember switching from mello factory all terrain Wranglers to Duratracs on my Titan......
Scared the hell out of me how squishy they felt.... after a week I was use to it and never noticed.

If you have Duratracs. Thats the problem Changed mine out in Day 2
Or check tire pressure on the tires you have

I also swapped out the Duratracs 2 weeks after I picked up my truck with 10ply Toyo's made a big difference, more stable and I love the ride now.
