Turn signal/wiper activation

Have had my AT4X! for a little over a month and loving it! My smallish gripe, Turning the wipers on every time I Use the turn signal, first vehicle I can remember that the wipers were so easily activated by touching the stalk (first world problems I know!)

I just turn mine to off. If it starts raining, I’ll switch them back on

I've encountered that issue a couple of times. First world problems for sure! What I don't like is why didn't they put the spray button on the end of the stalk? That button and the auto headlight button needs to be swapped!

While at the dealer for some other work, I questioned the wipers doing the same thing. Mine also would wipe the windshield once each time you start the engine. No moisture, no dirt, but it would swipe once. That along with the activation each time you used the turn signal. I was told to just leave them off unless I needed the rain sense feature! Yes, it works but!!!!

One click up from off is the rain sensitive feature. Finally figured that out. Know I just have to remember to turn it off or the next time I start it up the wiper will sweep one time. 79yrs old! How much remembering do I have left.

Less than a week after the original post here I left on a 2500 mile round trip to TX. I had never seen that happen in the year plus I have owned my truck but on that trip it seemed to happen all the time. Frustrating.
