Just purchased 2022 AT4 and 60 miles later experienced hard jolt accelerating in 1st gear after backing out of driveway and starting to accelerate up small incline hill in normal auto 2 wheel mode. If you stop on an incline and try to accelelerate, it will scare you when it catches and the tires bark. Does it every time. Is this an adjustment fix or bigger issue? Sceduled to leave with dealer next week for fix hopefully?? This is the 6.6L gas engine and 6 speed trans. Anyone else experiencing similar ?

I have a 2019 that does similar but on flat surface. When coming to stop sometimes jolts forward. Feels like been rear ended. Does not do it everytime. Of course dealership never heard of that problem imr

My 2004 Tacoma did this. It was the drive shaft sliding back and forth per Toyota.. I guess there was enough slop in that space for it to build momentum and slide after a stop forward then stop again. I guess it's like crashing in a helmet. The helmet hits whatever and stops then the brain inside moves until it is stopped by the skull. Drove me mad. Toyota blamed it on a lube shop using the wrong grease when greasing some fittings. They pulled the shaft and cleaned it, machined down the surfaces or something and re greased it with their stuff. It improved a bit, maybe 20%, but it never went away. Don't miss that. Hope to not have to deal with it again. It started at about 20K miles and was still doing it when I sold it at about 40K.

Left it at dealer yesterday so we'll see what they come up with? Thanks for the comments and I'll post outcome.

I feel like my 1-2 or 2-3 shift is kinda like that too. Hoping it gets better with time.

Dearler told me Fri they couldn't relicate what I was experiencing. They would get another driver/mechanic to see if that makes a difference. I really can't belive he sd that ? Sd they can't do report with GMC without replicating proble. Sounds like I may have to go back so I can drive and sho them I guess. Just told them I'm not bringing back to my home with this isuue. Apparently everything they could check seemed to be OK. Hopefully we can make some progress soon.

Dealer initially couldn't replicate problem, but after another attempt was able to, so we'll see what's figured out ?

I'm still trying to find out how there's a 6.6L engine with a 6 speed in a 2022 AT4...??? I definitely would've went with those options.

They replaced 2 valve bodys and a spacer which corrected the bump starting out with acceleration but can't get it home without feeling it when it downshifts at very slow speed. I guess my problems are just starting? Planning to request a new truck. Not sure how this will turn out? I really love the truck, just wish the trans was working right.

GMC replaced transmission and feels like it should now. Hope that was fix?

Thouht I was good with transmisison replacement but just experienced few more jolts this week with 5,000 miles on it. Really starting to frustrate me. Maybe they'll continue to work with on this issue. Still want to love the truck.
