Transmission hard down shift

I have noticed some funky shifting, I have a 2022 gmc at4 2500hd with 27,000 miles on it. No upgrades to tires or lift I bought it with 7000 miles on it. The brakes/rotors were toast when I bought it. It’s down shifted really hard when coming off the freeway to a stop. Almost like it skipped a couple gears. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Also I have had my screen lock up as well as volume controls lights flashing at weird times.

I guess welcome to the GMC world. I have same year and model and bought it new and barely made it home before having transmission repaired and ultimately with replaced @ 600 miles. Overall, better but still get a harder than expected downshift from 3rd to 2nd (40mph world) at times. Sounds like something I have to live with based on conversations with GMC. Brakes have squealed at slow speeds since inception. That's inferior materials being used today in my opinion. Still trying to love the truck though!!

Just had my transmission replaced under warranty and I am getting a random hard down shift too. I was costing to a stop yesterday and had a hard shift before I stopped. The gremlins in the trans don't shift hard all the time. I have advised my service guy and he said drive it for another 500 miles and see if it clears. Well see. Not hopeful. Could this be a software issue? Have not driven the truck hard and tow a small trailer.
