First off thanks for having me on the forum. I’ve finally bought an AT4 after dreaming about them for awhile now. 2022 refresh that was brand new just a leftover. Dealership in Alabama had 5 of them. 6.2 motor and the 10 speed. Had it exactly 1 week and just turned 1k miles and was cruising at 58 mph on cc and noticed the truck shuddering like it was looking for the correct gear. It did this multiple times. Shifted down to L9. Same thing. Also noticed it around 35mph in town. Seems to be when there’s no load and just give it a little throttle. If I step on it the truck downshifts fine and throws me back in the seat haha. Should I take it to a dealership here in Ohio where I live and have them look at it now? I purchased a bumper to bumper extended warranty and plan on keeping this for awhile, but this scares me. Thanks in advance

2023 AT4, I have had similar issues. Not awful but when slowly creeping or making quick moves in traffic. That along with fighting the auto shut-off if I forget to deactivate it. The 6 speed transmission (Escalade) from a couple of years ago was a nightmare, stuttering, u joint bang etc. 10 speed is so much better. I would put a few more miles on the truck before I take it to service.

Thank you. I appreciate any feedback. Just nerve racking when you look at the money we put in these new vehicles nowadays.

If I felt a shudder on a brand new truck and I was certain it's not normal, I could't return it to the dealer fast enough. At the very least, get it documented at the dealership.

I had a 23 that started like this and a few hours later transmission went out. Had 5200 miles on it

Whaaattt??? I mean seriously what do you do though other than just have them look at it? My biggest issue is I bought it in Alabama and now I’m in Ohio. Can’t just take it back to them.

I was on vacation when it went out. They sent a wrecker and picked it up. I told them to keep it and get me a HD. I was gun shy after that happened on a new truck.

Where you bought it should have no influence in service (Not like the old days). My instrument cluster went out, different dealer. It took them 3 weeks to replace it. I was up their asz on week two. Now holding a $500. voucher from GMC for the hassle.
