Trailer Tire Pressure Sensors

Plug in the trailer and go through the trailer setup options on the display. The trailer tire sensor setup is in there if the truck supports it.

Thanks for the help, when I pulled a trailer this weekend I could see the lights settings but didn't see the tire pressure but I just selected guest trailer for the profile. This morning I hooked back up and setup a trailer and the tire pressure settings were there. I'll look in the glove box and see if I have any sensors.

Looks like my truck didn't come with the sensors in the glove box, guess I missed out on that $50 option and instead get the full price ones. I'll pick up a few and give them a shot. Thanks again.

My understanding is that you can only get the sensors for that price ‘if’ you order them with the truck. That was stated when I ordered my truck therefore I got them (Qty 4 for $50). Separately, they were somewhere like $50 a piece.

My advice for you would be to post in this forum with "looking to buy trailer tire sensors" in the subject line. If you don't get a response here, ask the question in a wider GMC and/or Chevy forum. I'm willing to bet tens of thousands of people who have those OEM sensors will never use them. Hopefully some of those people are in these forums. A few months ago I heard a guy at my skeet club ask if anybody wanted his set. I'll probably run into him tomorrow at the retired guys shoot. If he's giving them away, which he's that kind of guy, I'll get them to you for just what the shipping costs.

That guy hasn't shown up to a retired guys shoot or open shoot in a month. I don't know what's up.
