Thanks for welcoming me, Happy Thanksgiving. Is there a way to add more power to the truck bed outlet?

I was thinking of buying a dual alternator bracket and installing a 400-watt alternator to power the bed outlet. Would I need to get a secondary battery and an external inverter or can I run the lines from the alternator to the outlet?
