Hello all,
I am not to keen on crawling under my truck to disconnect the multi-pro tailgate connector, nor am I keen on getting dirt inside the exposed female end.
I am wondering if anyone has ever spliced in a new connector, located up at the tailgate that would facilitate easy removal? This is the route that I am thinking. Also I would like to research if I can replace the cables to the quick disconnect system that is on the older trucks because having to loosen bolts to take of the tailgate is stupid.....can anyone give me any leads?
