My thoughts exactly - someone else had posted they removed theirs on an AT4 and it looked clean! Guess I can always re-add SIERRA and hope it lines up! I've only had the truck a month so still in "shock" removing badges on a brand new truck!

I like it without.......may have to remove mine now

I went through the same debate after getting paint correction and ceramic coating. I ended up putting it back on.

Removed mine, and deleted all chrome. All chrome is now hydro dipped bronze to match the bronze my my front grill.

Here is some pics. The one of the tailgate was before I did the gmc badge.

Blacked mine out. I considered removing tge Sierra but the blacked out look has grown on me.

I’m in this camp — and I’m very happy I got rid of the tailgate wrap too. For me, the tailgate wrap was kinda like having one of the truck doors painted in black primer… much better without it.

I went the hyper dip route but now thinking of taking off the Sierra as I am liking that look.

Deleting badges is the first step I make with any new vehicle. If someone doesn't know what I'm driving then they don't need to. But the main reason is it makes life much easier when it comes to washing, waxing, or doing ceramic coat. Besides, if you keep the vehicle long enough and a pressure washer eventually knocks off one of your badges you will still be able to see the letters because the paint under the emblem is darker than the rest which has been faded by the Sun.

Does hyper dip peel off around emblems easier than plastidip? I think I read on a post that it did. I wouldnt mind spraying the chrome around the GMC but not sure how easily it would come off the wrap if there was overspray and taping around it seems like a nightmare. I want to delete the chrome on the grill GMC too but sounds like its a chore to get those emblems off.

I have used both, and each does really well as long as you apply enough coats, and prep your surface good. I do however like the finish a lot more with the Hyper dip. More of a paint finish.
