Steering Wheel light question

Hello all. New member here, I just purchased a AT4 3500 HD Duramax. So far I like the truck. I noticed while driving at night the instrument lights on the right side of the steering wheel were illuminated but those on the left side with the cruise control and heated steering wheel were not. Is this normal or do I have an issue that needs to be fixed?

I have same truck 2020, I have not noticed, but I will check now that you mention and let you know. Have you done any towing or upgrades as far as wheels and tires or anything else??

Both sides are lit on my 2021 1500. I’d be checking with the dealer on that.
