Anyone else have a dashboard that squeaks? At first I thought it was my cup because it sounds exactly like a styrofoam cup in a cup holder that’s shaking, but it makes the sound even when I don’t have a cup in the truck. I discovered when I press on the dash, to the left of the infotainment screen (between the screen and the air vent) and put pressure on the trim there, the squeak goes away.

I’m hesitant on taking it into the dealer because I was a service writer for years and every service writer hates to get the “Squeak and Rattle” tickets. I’m just wondering if this is a known issue or not.

No squeak here. ?

I have the same issue. Bought my AT4 back in October. Noticed the sound about month ago. Sounds like two pieces of styrofoam rubbing against a each other. As best I can tell it is coming from somewhere inside the dash, behind the steering column.

I have been hesitant to take mine to the dealer as well, as I have not really had time. But if I can't figure it out soon, will have to take it in. It is driving me nuts!

That’s exactly what mine sounds like. I guess when I eventually get it in to the dealer to get a new SD card for the Nav, I’ll ask them if there are any TSBs out for it.

I'm taking mine into the dealer today for the same Styrofoam squeak. I'll report back if I can get anywhere. Sounds like it's coming from near the driver's floor board. Gets worse as the truck warms up vs after cold starting.
I guess it all sounds different to each of us. My wife says it sounds like it’s coming from around (or under) the glove box(es) area when she’s riding in the passenger seat. But yeah if you could let us know what they say, that’d be great!

If you go to the "Proclip" web site for cell phone mounts, they have a video of how to install their phone mount mount and it shows how to remove the bezel on the infotainment
I completely missed your comment Zeeya. I’ll take a look at that this weekend and see if I can pop it off and find the cause of the styrofoam squeak sound. Thanks for the tip!

For anyone else with the styrofoam squeak sound, the dealer fixed mine. It was a harness rubbing on the trans tunnel. They ended up zip tying the harness somewhere to stop the rubbing. There is a TSB (#5864521) that they referenced. Here's a pic of my workorder.

Hey all.
Having the same problem on my 2 week old AT4.
Sound is coming from driver and passenger sides behind/under dash.
In the video I have my phone at my legs and wiggling the steering wheel side too side slightly.
Going to talk to the dealer today.
Man, is this annoying.......

An update on my issue with this. It was body mounts that are behind the front wheel wells. The mounts were replaced but still squeaked and apparently had to add a shim to the mount to tighten it up. All good now.
