Squeak coming from front end

I have a squeak that is coming from my front end, I can hear it distinctly when my window is down but also in the cab. I have been underneath and have tightened everything I could think of. If anyone has any recommendations or similar experience, please let me know. I drive a 2022+ GMC Sierra 1500 AT4

That sounds like a warning out/bad bushing. Maybe on the upper control arm or even the lower control arm. Your truck should still hopefully be under warranty. Show the service tech your video. They should be able to diagnose where it's coming from.

I’ve already taken it to the dealer and they said that they couldn’t replicate the noise and that there was nothing wrong

Don't settle for that answer. I had a rear leafspring squeak around 2000 miles; during the third visit they agreed to rock the truck by jumping up and down on the tailgate step whilst another tech used a stethescope to conclude the rear springpacks were defective. Three weeks later they replaced springpacks, U-Bolts etc. and the problem obviously went away.

Im tracking its the wrong answer, the thing that is ridiculous is that I went in before the Bumper to Bumper warranty expired and they gave that answer. Unfortunately now if I was to go back they would charge me diagnostic and everything else involved. I live in a small town and this dealer service department is absolutely trash. This is the second truck I’ve brought to them where they couldn’t figure anything out and just charged way too much for them to diagnose “look” at it. I had the rear leaf clunk as well but ended up just doing the rubber shims myself to get it resolved.

Even after showing them the video? Take it to another dealership, that one is shit. Lol. You could also start greesing one bushing at a time till it stops.

My 22.5 AT4X is having this same exact sound issue. Did you find a fix/what the issue was coming from? My dealer said it was the exhaust flapper valve! I doubt it though.

Do you know what the squeaking may be coming from?

I just ordered some Cognito UCA's to replace my Ready Lifts and also Borla Cat-Back exhaust system. I think it may be coming from one or the other...

I'm not sure if you have exactly the same sound/issue as Clones95 but listening to his sound byte several times, leads me to believe that although his sound is in sync with suspension/road/tire movement, it does not appear to be suspension related but something semi-metallic touching another piece of resonating metal, its more like ping, ping sound than a squeak. I'm sorry I can't think of another reason without physical examination. Try gently leaning on the brakes to check if the sound changes, does it stop or change while turning left or right, does the sound persist if coasting or in netural (for a few seconds); you'll have to work on a process of elimination since it appears your dealer is a waste of time.

I have my own video here but I noticed when I got out I jumped up and down on the side steps and it made the sound. Sounds like it is coming from some part of the suspension. It doesnt happen for the first few miles but after driving for 30+ minutes around the 20-40mph range it’s just constant. I hope it’s not the shocks. Maybe the UCA?

It’s very possible an exhaust part or heat shield is loose and/or touching some place it should not be… If it was documented before end of warranty on RO and they couldn’t find it, you go back and meet with foreman say.. “see this video, this is my original complication please figure it out and work with GM to cover the shops cost”…

If it’s not on the RO it’s going to be on you… if they find rocks or a bent piece it’s going to be on you… if you modified they truck, it’s going to be on you.

I am out of warranty now by 1k miles, it’ll be on me I suppose! I’ll have to climb under there and see how the heat shield is.
