Slot in Dash

Got my New AT4 and learning all the bits and pieces and I find a slot in the dash to the left of the steering wheel that is not mentioned in any literature I can find. Anyone know what it is?
A credit card fits but I have not inserted one fully not knowing what may happen. Photo below:

I use a card to get in parking at work. That would be a handy place to keep it.
