Shorty antenna Recommendations ??

New at4 at the dealer waiting on “dealer installed parts” so am filling the garage with stuff i am going to put on.
Any comments on the various shorty antenna available. Don’t use am/fm all that much but i really dont like the look of a whip.

Mines just one off Amazon I don’t use am/fm much except to listen my Wildcats play seems to be fine and is clean and stout.

I bought the same brand in a 13" and it works fine for me. Couldn't take the stock antenna hitting the garage door on the way in and changed out after a couple days.

So.... I'm trying to swap out antennas to a shorty and attempting to remove my stock one, it just spins! Not sure if the base is loose and I need to get in there and secure the base and then unscrew the antenna? Any insight would be helpful.

Got it! Apparently my patience when it's 8 degrees out is pretty low, I just needed to keep spinning it off as it was a tight fit! One pass in the car wash and the stock was already bent!

Q: Did anyone have to remove the antenna post for the new antenna to screw onto it? The one I bought on Amazon came with a variety of posts to go with it, and it's too small to screw onto the factory post. I can't figure out how to remove the current threaded post, though.

Honestly, I'd just return it and get any of the many others that fit. Not worth the trouble.
