Shifting into gear issue...

Is anyone experiencing shifting problems when trying to go from Park to Drive or Reverse? Truck is new, only 124 miles on it but 1/2 the time I having to make multiple tries to get the truck to come out of park to go into drive or reverse. The button is pressed in all the way and I am moving the shifter crisply. Foot is on the brake...

Truck is going in tomorrow as the running boards that where supposed to have come from the factory did not so they are in for that to be installed but I wanted to see if this a known issue or this is just a new truck issue for me?

Got it back this afternoon. Dealer said they did nothing but I believe that they did a reflash as all my settings were gone for the truck. Shifts like it did when I first bought it home so we will see what happens. I believe there is a setting that will not allow you to shift in gear unless you have your seat belt on and I had that disabled as if I want to move the truck a few feet I do not need a seat belt on and now it has been enabled by whatever the dealer did.

My 2024 AT4X AEV just started doing this and the transmission light is on. The dealership changed out the transmission shifting assembly and had me pick it up. The very next time I tried to start and put into gear did the same thing. Took 4-5 tries to get it to work. Took it back the next morning and they said they can't figure it out and they are waiting for GM to response to their ticket. I found this and just sent it to the dealership. I'm not sure if this is why the light is on or if it's unrelated because it has also shifted really hard a couple of times.
