Service ESC

From south Louisiana. Went on vacation for a week . My friend was going to drive my truck to airport to pick me up , said it wouldn’t start that he thought it said something about battery. We did have harsh conditions over week with below freezing temperatures. Well I figured maybe I had to charge battery. This morning I start and it says service ESC and won’t start. Next is check left tail lamp and trailer brake . So I have been looking into and only thing kept coming across was something about brakes and steering and maybe a recall. Never heard anything of this and I did a bunch research before I bought this truck last November. Seems like a dealer issue or a recall and a lot of owners are having the same issue and it get it towed. Have 1500 diesel. But it looks like it can happen to any truck. I have it on charge right now to see if that will help it is showing around 10 so maybe I’ll get lucky. Just seeing if anybody else has gone through this .

Update put on charge for 1 hour , cranked right up no messages or warning . same thing with 08 Tahoe battery dead, but have a 09 Hyundai Elantra and cranked right up smh
