Looking for some less expensive, but still decent seat covers for my AT4X. As a contractor, it is very hard to keep the seats nice/in good shape with dirt/dust/wood chips/etc all over me from working. Living in Montana with lots of snow/wet/etc on my clothes at least half the year from the weather is also a concern. Also my employee's, who often ride in the truck with me, have no care as to treating the seats/interior decenty. So looking for a slimmer/thinner but tighter fitting seat cover for the front seats. And probably a bit thicker, neoprene type of cover for the back seat to protect it more. Also have kids and a kids seat in the back, and kids seats sitting on the seat are also tough on the seat, along with kids always spilling what they may have in a sippy cup or they are eating, which works it's way to the seat.

I had a 2014 Z71 Sierra that I had bought a set of neoprene seat covers for years ago. It didn't have leather seats and I wanted something to protect the upholstery. The pictures of how the neoprene covers looked and fit from the place I bought them were deceptive. Those covers fit nothing like the pictures - they were a poor fit once installed. But they did protect the seats.

This AT4X has such nice seats, obviously including the massaging, heated front seats, I hate to cover them. Which is why I am looking for a thinner material, kind of a stretchy material, for a tighter less obtrusive, but still somewhat protective fit for the two front buckets. The reat seats can have a neoprene type to protect better and since the rears don't have massaging seats a thicker neoprene is fine.

My online searchs haven't yielded much luck yet, and I realize most would never want to cover these seats so there may be no one with suggestions or who have bought covers for this truck, but still throwing out the request for a rec for decent covers if anyone has some or knows of some that would fit my needs and description.

Thanks!

These are the best. $$ ? Depends on how long you want them to last.

I had Wet Okole’s in a Tacoma that I bought new in 2012. I sold the truck last year and the factory seats looked like showroom seats…. They’re definitely worth the money.

But….would seat covers on the leather cause the leather to get dry and crack? That’s my biggest concern with it. They would defeat the purpose of covering the seats then.

I had them on my tacoma for 147 k miles. showroom fresh when I sold it.
leather seats are regular interior maintenance; seat covers or no.
Griots Garage leather seats stuff 👍 ; I used it on a regular basis on 6-7 figure A/C seating; great stuff.

Thanks for the link!

Those covers do look real nice. I went ahead and went through the process of selecting to covers and options the AT4X would need. Looks like for both front and back they come in at a little over $800. That's a little more pricey than I was looking to spend, but I am sure these covers are far better than the $200 sets on Amazon and similar. I know those ones on Amazon are just a cookie cutter that have the same cover for GM trucks between the years of 2008 and 2023. Which means they will be a much more sloppy fit. The ones you linked looked far higher quality, have more color options, more options period. And most important they are likely to fit correctly.

I will have to think this over a bit before biting the bullet. I really appreciate the reply and link, it is exactly what I was looking for on info for seat covers for these rigs!

Its an expensive truck and will likely last longer than any of use; get nice ones in front and throwaways for the back where the workers sit

This is kind of my thinking. Thanks for the input!

I have done a lot of research, watching videos, etc on affordable seat cover options. I have decided against the chinese made crap on Amazon. They look like crap, fit like crap, and probably will wear and tear easily. That being said, for the back seat only (and I can buy just the back seat Amazon china made cover for $80), it is still tempting. Main reason is you don't have to remove the rear seats to install the Amazon ones. They really just sit on top of the seats and yes they do look like crap, and also make lifting up the 60/40 bench seats to get to the storage underneath a pain. But they would offer the main protection I am looking for without an extra 2 hours of install time.

The Wet Okole's are the nicest option. Right now for a full front and back set they are $605. They have a valentines day discount knocking over $100 off on them. They are definitely the nicest looking, likely the longest lasting, and best fitting option since Wet Okole really does do more of a custom fit for different models/years/etc than just a basic genericn Amazon/Ebay "these fit 2008 through 2023 models" seat covers.

The other option is the Rough Country neoprene full front and back set for $200. So $400 cheaper than the Wet Okole. Have watched several videos of the RC ones being installed, and reviewed on how they fit and work. For $200 they are really nice. They don't look quite as nice as the Wet Okole's, but it's not a huge difference in looks. The seem to be the same basic install time/method and have the same offerings, such as keeping the rear in-seat upper storage compartments (I don't use those really, probably should though), and also cover and allow the use of the middle flip down rear cup holder (again something I have never, or rarely used). The fit seems close to as good as the Wet Okole's, maybe not quite as good, but pretty darn close. I watched a YT video of a guy putting them on a 2020 silverado RST - basically the same interior set up as the 2020 AT4 and my 23 AT4X is not enough different to matter I don't think. From that video you could tell they are very good quality and just what they will take to install and how the look and work once installed.

So I am debating on those options - Rough Country or Wet Okole. Real close to pulling the trigger on one of the options. If I go with the Wet Okole's, I should do it by tuesday to get the valentines day discount. I won't have time to install them before I leave for 3 weeks of work back in Nebraska (I leave a week from today, the 18th), but I'd like to have them in hand and could install them on a sunday afternoon while there in Nebraska. I will be bringing my parents chihuaha back with me to MT once this interior finish/trim/cabinets/flooring job is done, as my parents will be gone (they live in Nebraska and I am doing the work on one of their new spec houses) for 5 weeks on an Australia/New Zealand cruise and vacation and have no one to watch their little dog while gone. My brother normally would watch the dog, but he is moving to the Florida Keys, leaving around Feb 25th, so he can't do it. I really don't want that little dog on my uncovered seats for the 1000 mile drive back from NE to MT, lol.

Anyway, that is where I am at on the seat cover thing. Really want the Wet Okole, but at $400 less, the Rough Country's are not that much different and will work just fine I think.

Anyone that has either Wet Okole or the Rough Country seat covers, please chime in if you don't mind!

Thanks!

check out Headwater seatcovers from threeforks,mt. I had a set on my last truck and they fit like a glove as they are custom made per vehicle, great fit but not cheap.Bobby

I will do that! Three Forks only 45 minutes away from me, so very doable.

Thanks!

For my AT4X, I used Wet Okole truck seat covers. They offer custom-fit options that work well for both front and back seats. For front seats, i could go with a thinner neoprene option—they have a range of thicknesses and styles. For the back, their standard neoprene covers are great for protection against dirt, spills, and the chaos that comes with kids and work gear.
