What are the best options for the power running boards for the 1500 at4 duramax? AMP or GM OEM boards?

I added the Amp to my 2022 AT4x about a month ago, been awesome addition! My only complaint is I drove the truck 10 months without um! They do remind me of my divorce tho- expensive and worth it!

Love AMP steps in general.
However really not crazy about the new OB2 port install method, that Amp is using now days.
Easier to install yes.
But in the case of a 2022 RAM 3500 I had them on last year, they were very wonky, stuff like dropping them both when I open the tailgate, or dropping the driver side only to start retracting it about the time I was going to step on it. About caught my leg in more than once.
I had a set them on several other trucks over the years and loved them, but those other sets were all hardwired into the trucks, and never had the issues I had with that last set. Also with wanting to use a Rang tech Auto start stop DFM defeat devise at some point when it comes available, I would not want to tie up my OBD2 port.

So I had only one truck that came with the steps from factory. It was a 2021 2500 Duramax. Does anyone know- were they provided by Amp or Who? Kinda like the exhaust for our trucks, may come on it, but made by Borla
